Introduced in 1942 as a replacement for the J-35, the J-45 has since become one of Gibson’s most popular acoustic flattops. Earning a reputation as a “workhorse” guitar, the J-45 was embraced for its no-frills attitude and big, strong tone. Several variations of the J-45 have been released over the years including its natural-finish counterpart, the J-50. This guitar is in very good used condition, with some finish checking and normal wear. It plays nicely, with fine action and has the big tone you expect to come out of a J-45. It also comes with it’s original case.
