Description
Gibson’s J-45 is simply put, a very popular guitar. This is a 90th Anniversary guitar and was made as a Limited Edition of just 90 guitars, this being number 46. It has some neat features like a slightly bent top and a large, neckblock that somewhat resembles a Spanish Heel. The guitar plays and sounds great! The guitar has light scratches over the body’s surface. There are some weather checking finish cracks on the top. The neck looks to have been reset. The top’s finish right along the sides of the fingerboard now show a lighter finish color. Where the pickguard has the cutaway by the bridge, there is of course, pick wear. Where the bridge pins are, they seem to be in an oval shaped insert. We looked and saw multiple other guitars with the same insert, so it’s original. We glued down a slightly lifting bridge. Overall, this rare guitar is in very good condition and it comes with it’s original case.
