Gibson L-1 c.1918

Gibson L-1 c.1918

Here is a super cool and getting rarer all the time Gibson L-1 archtop guitar from 1918! It is in very good condition for a 101 year old instrument. The tuners have been replaced (what is left of the old ones are in the case), it has a non-original bridge and is missing it’s pickguard. There is a top crack that looks to have been repaired in the past, there is no movement to it now. Really great feeling, beefy V shape neck. It comes with an old hardshell case, we are unsure if it is original. Own a super cool piece of guitar history!

Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, 1918
‘Pumpkin top’
Solid spruce top
Solid Maple back and sides
Slanted ‘The Gibson’ logo
Hard shell case
