Description

A very cool dulcimer. These were made in Sausalito, California (with a  Mill Valley label, because it “sounded better”) in the early 1970’s by Jim Shellnut. The company became Magic Mountain Dulcimers and moved to San Rafael in 1975. The original labels were still used until gone. Jim sold the company to Saga in the early 1980’s. The instrument has light wear and comes with a chipboard case.
