Kay A-Style c.1950’s

SKU: L2639 Category: Tag:

A cool vintage instrument! Built in Chicago during the 1950’s, this mandolin has an authentic vintage tone and look. It has been set up and plays well with action at 2.5/32nds and 2/32nds at the 12th fret, G and E strings. It has a normal play wear, but nothing bad, just enough to add some vintage charm. Internal P3 stamp. The tailpiece cover is missing. Overall, this is a 60 some odd year old mandolin, in good condition, that plays and sounds nice and comes with a chip case.

Spruce top
Adjustable rosewood bridge
Elevated rosewood fingerboard
Made in Chicago
Chip case included
