Description

A nice Kay tenor banjo from the late 40’s to late 50’s.  We gave the banjo a full set up and new strings (CGDA).  This is one of the Kay instruments that have the curved neck shim, which makes changing the neck’s angle really easy, just loosen up the coordinator rod, reposition the neck and tighten the rod back up. The instrument looks all original too (except strings).  The cool friction tuners hold tune well.  There is light wear throughout the instrument, but it is in very good condition overall.  It also comes with a vintage chip case.
