This was the highest end mandolin banjo that was produced by Washburn/Lyon & Healy. These were produced for just a short time. The headstock’s deco design puts it at 1920-21. A high quality instrument, with nice inlay and it has the tailpiece cover! These alone sell for several hundred dollars. It has decent action and is currently strung with silk and steel mandolin strings. In very good condition overall, it is missing one tension hook.
Maple rim and neck
30 tension hooks (one is missing)
