Here’s a cool and rather rare Martin for you, the 00-21NY. There were only around 900 of these guitars ever produced. They were predominately used as ‘folk’ guitars and had a style that dated back to when Martin guitars were made in New York (NY). This guitar recently came out of our repair shop (we are an Authorized Martin Repair Center) and we did the following to it: Reglued the bridge, glued and cleated back cracks, new bone saddle, full set up and restring. This guitar plays wonderfully and has a very full sound, much more than you would think from a small bodied guitar. At one point, flamenco style pickguards were attached on both sides of the soundhole. They are gone now, but you can see where they were if you look hard, due to a slight difference in color of the top where they were. It is in very good used condition and comes with a hard shell case. Fantastic guitar!
