Description
Martin based this model on Eric Clapton’s guitar of choice for his iconic MTV Unplugged performance. With back and sides constructed from East Indian rosewood, the visually stunning 000-28EC produces a well-balance tone. This example was made in Nazareth, Pa. in 2002. We repaired 2 top cracks on this. It had been dry and the finish on the top has shrunk into the wood grain some, which you can feel if you move you finger along it’s finish and there is some weather checking to the finish as well. A strap button has been added to the neck’s heel. There is also some normal light wear to this in the form of light scratches. The guitar has a pretty, full-range tone and outstanding projection. This guitar is in very good condition overall and comes with a hard case.
