Description

An absolutely awesome D-35! This one has Brazilian rosewood back and sides. It sounds and plays wonderful, very hard to put down and rather inspiring. When this came in, it had a sunken top and was very dry. It also has several top crack repairs on the treble side and by the pickguard. We have an Authorized Martin Repair Technician on staff who humidified it, including doing it with a jack inside lifting the top. The bracing, bridge plate and crack repairs were all checked out. (Not pictured is the typical crack from the top of the pickguard towards the bridge) Some minor fret leveling was done. Despite a top that is still somewhat out of shape by the bridge area, this is a solid guitar and ready to go. Low E action at the 12th fret is 3/32.” Other than what was mentioned already, the guitar has normal play wear from use: scratches and dings, wear around the sound hole, a little wear to the fingerboard in the first position, weather checking in the finish and binding shrinkage cracks along the fingerboard at the frets. A strap button was added on the neck heel. Overall this guitar is in good used condition and will make a great “player’s” guitar. It comes with a non original hard case.
