Description
A great playing and sounding archtop tenor banjo! This one was made by William Lange and branded as a Paramount. The banjo is equipped with a pickup, which the output jack is a cable that comes out of the instrument about a foot or so. The wiring has some rough splices, but works fine. The bride has obviously been modified (it’s split, the feet are gone and the open spaces are filled) and the tuners are replacement guitar style ones. There is a section of binding on the resonator that is gone. There is a small shim at the end of the dowel stick. The nut for the tailpiece is not original (it’s nylon), most of the other hardware looks original. There are a few very tiny pinholes on the head over the arch by the neck. There is some wear to the fingerboard. Overall, this is a great player’s tenor and is in very good condition overall. It comes with a gig bag.
