This Kay built banjo was made during the 1960’s and labeled with the Supro name (Kay had purchased Valco by this time). We have given it new strings and a set up, so it’s all ready to go. The banjo has normal wear for a 50 year old instrument, but nothing really bad. The back of the neck has a few areas where the finish has worn off, the tuners have been replaced and the wings on the headstock show the typical shrinkage lines. This is a great deal on a vintage American made banjo!
