Refund and Returns Policy

At Music Folk, we want you to be satisfied with you purchase.  If you are not happy, we do accept returns or exchanges. Our refund and returns window lasts for a period of 7 days from the time you received the item. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can not offer you a full refund or exchange.  If the item was shipped to you, you must inform us within that 7 day window, that you will be returning the item.

We ship instruments and large items via UPS. This means, NO P.O. Boxes, as UPS doesn’t deliver to them.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and it must also be in the original packaging.

We cannot accept returns on products that are intimate, such as harmonicas, whistles, flutes, or other wind type instruments.  Other items that are non-returnable are: gift cards, books and written publications, opened video or audio items, microphones and pickups.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Only regularly priced items may be refunded. Sale/discounted items cannot be refunded.

Once your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a refund will be given on either the original credit card or as a written check.

We require using a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items that a shipper loses or damages.  You must provide us the tracking number. You are responsible for paying for all shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item was misrepresented or defective. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from it.
