Description
This nice A-style mandolin was made in Chicago by Kay in the 1950’s or 1960’s and sold at Western Auto, under the Airline brand name. We did a heat and press to the neck as well as some light setup work to it and put on new strings. It plays easily and has a solid tone. The mandolin itself has normal light wear and weather checking on it’s finish. The bridge looks like it took a hit at some point and is discolored for some reason, but it works as it should. The mandolin is in very good condition and comes with a hard case. Not a bad instrument at all!
