Description

A really nice vintage soprano ukulele. Made in Chicago for B&J of New York. Cool Romeo and Juliet graphic on the front, which is in really great shape! The headstock logo is a bit ate up. The ukulele has some light dings and scratches and other light wear. The pearloid has aged in color. We reattached it’s neck, added the 12th fret, which was missing and fabricated and put on a new nut, as well as put new Martin strings on it. The original friction tuners hold tune well. This ukulele plays nicely and has a sweet tone. There are 2 labels inside, the B&J one is easy to make out. The other wasn’t in a good spot to photograph and says “Standard Approved by the National Association of Musical Instruments and Accessories Mfrs, USA.”  This one has some sweet vibe, with it’s cool decals, black paint and pearloid fingerboard and headstock face. don’t miss it!
