Dixie were cool soprano banjo ukuleles that had cast aluminum necks, rims and tension hoops. They were made during the 1950’s. This one plays really well and sounds really good. It’s a great, fun uke! There is typical pitting but this uke is in very good condition and comes with a gig bag
