Description
A rather nice, older Excelsior accordion. This one has squared edges, consistent with instruments prior to the 1940’s. Thus, we’re calling it made during the 1920’s or 1930’s and made in New York City. Excelsior moved to Italy in the late 1940’s. It’s cover is a pretty unique rosewood finished celluloid, or similar material. You can see the “wood grain” on some of the close up photos. Our ace reeds technician went thru this and corrected anything that was needed. It’s a lively instrument with a big sound. It is in very good condition, with normal wear and aging and comes with a hard case.
