Description
Harmony Monterey mandolins date back to the 1930’s. This is a later era one. Made in Chicago of all solid woods. This is a nice playing and sounding mandolin. The top had separated along the side by the tailpiece so we repaired that. The neck was heat pressed. We did some other setup work, light fret work to it and put new strings on, getting this ready for you. There is some wear to the instrument, mainly to it’s top, with some chipping and weather checking. There is also some thumb wear on the back of the neck. The mandolin is in very good condition overall and comes with a chip case. A cool vintage mandolin!
