Description

A super cool, concert sized guitar! This guitar was made in Chicago by Harmony during the first half of 1934. This ladder braced gem has a wonderful dry tone and sounds mighty fine for some fingerstyle blues. We don’t know the whole repair history, but we heat pressed the neck, reset the neck, repaired multiple cracks on the top, back and sides and did some finish work over the crack repairs. The painted fretmarkers are worn in spots. The pearloid fretboard has a few repaired cracks. One of the tuner shafts is bent some (functions just fine). One tuner has had it’s gear bolt changed. There are numerous dings and scratches throughout the instrument and weather checking to the finish. EADGBE is carved onto the top. The finish on the back of the neck is worn from use. The whole (painted?) on scene on the front is in really good condition. This guitar is really cool. If you like ladder braced Chicago made guitars from the 1930’s, you might like this one!
