Description
The Hatfield Buck Creek is a highly regarded, professional-quality American-made 5-string banjo originally handcrafted by the late Arthur Hatfield in Kentucky. Known for delivering vintage pre-war acoustic tone at an accessible price point, it features all-mahogany construction, a custom flathead tone ring, and a 3-ply hard rock maple rim. While the Buck Creek is the entry-level model in the builder’s line, it punches well above its weight class, often drawing comparisons to banjos much higher in price. This banjo has some normal play wear: slight marks and fine scratches, some discoloration/deplating on the arm rest and a few small impressions here or there. This banjo sounds GREAT!!! Big and bold and it plays super easily. Fret spike capos are installed at frets 7, 9 and 10. This banjo is in very good condition and comes with a hard case.
