This decked out Dreadnought is the flagship model of Martin’s Standard Series. It is the most ornate of all the instruments, featuring hand inlaid pearl on the top, back, sides, and neck. Premium tonewoods and all of the advancements of the reimagined Standard Series such as forward shifted scalloped braces, antique white binding and a high performance neck. The guitar of choice for legends like Gene Autry and Neil Young, it’s the perfect guitar for any discerning collector or musician. Nothing says you’ve arrived like a D-45! We did some light setup to this and put on new strings. This instrument plays and sounds fantastic. Lots of abalone to dazzle the eyes too! A strap button has been added to the neck heel cap. A K&K passive pickup has been added for those times you wish to plug in. The guitar has mostly light wear throughout and some top indentations on it’s lower bout. In the last series of photos I tried showing them, by using reflecting light. The impressions don’t go very deep in the top and are generally hard to see, until you turn the guitar the right way. There is also some light pick scratches on the top that wouldn’t show in photos. This instrument is in very good condition overall and comes with it’s original hard case
