Description
A very cool Martin from the late 1980’s. Official Martin records suggest that there were 36 examples of this model made between 1988 and 1992. Shenandoah parts were made in Japan, then sent for assembly and finishing in Nazareth, Pa. This one features a solid spruce top and very attractive bird’s eye maple back and sides, made of layered woods. The guitar plays and sounds great! We put new strings on and did some light set up to it. It has the stock Fishman Thinline pickup installed, which does a nice job recreating the acoustic sound plugged in. The guitar has some wear, mostly scratches and some light impressions. There are examples in the photos, but the photos don’t show every mark that’s on the guitar.
