Description

A pretty nice masterclone type banjo from the 1970’s or 80’s. Asian made, not the Orpheum of the early 1900’s. We did some setup work and restrung this banjo getting it ready for you. It has a nice tone, and good projection. The tuners have been changed. Spike capos are installed at frets 7. 9 and 10. There is a hole were a spike was located at the 8th fret. The neck does have a pretty good twist to it, but it plays fine up and down the neck. The eagle on the resonator seems to be lifting some and, there is some reflective Mylar that feels as if it’s underneath. No idea of how/why, but it really isn’t an issue. There was once some type of microphone installed and it’s output is still attached to the resonator. Other than what is mentioned already, the banjo just has light, normal wear. It’s a nice banjo that will be great for a beginner/intermediate player. The banjo is in overall good condition and comes with a hard case.
