Pimentel & Sons are a celebrated New Mexico-based luthier shop known for premium craftsmanship. The “6R” indicates a Jumbo model with Rosewood (“R”) back and sides, from the “Southwestern” series. This guitar has a wonderful southwestern look, complete with turquoise inlays, mixed with pearl. The guitar has a big voice and a nice tone. We made a new bone nut and saddle for it, did some setup to it and restrung. It’s a fun guitar to play! There is some very light scratching to the guitar’s back. The top has some tiny dings and some pick wear to it, all of which is light. The back of the neck has a few finish chips around the 10th fret. The guitar has a clear pick guard and has a strap button on it’s neck heel. It is in very good condition and comes with a hard case.
