Description
A wonderful jazz-age tenor. This Slingerland was made in Chicago around 1920. The troublesome parts have been changed (skin head to a Remo Weatherking and the friction tuners have been changed to planetary. This is a great playing and sounding instrument! Strung up for Irish playing in GDAE tuning. The rolled brass tone ring gives this banjo a lot of projection. Just an awesome banjo! It has some normal light wear, including on the Remo head and some dings around the headstock, but is in overall very good condition. It comes with a strap and a Gold Tone gig bag.
