Description
Music Folk is proud to be one of the first, if not first Starr Banjos dealer! We have had a relationship with it’s owner, Chuck Ogsbury for some time (ODE, OME and UTE banjos). Due to tariffs and imported prices on the necks that Chuck used to import to reshape for the UTE banjos, Chuck simply couldn’t get the necks anymore at the price point needed for the UTEs. Sadly, UTE has now gone away (we bought his remaining stock btw.).
But…Chuck had a backup plan!
Years ago, he obtained a lot of necks from the Gibson Bozeman plant after they stopped making banjos and stored them. He is now reshaping them, putting a side scoop and spike capos at the 7th and 9th frets. Like the UTES, Chuck is using ODE hardware, rims to complete them. Nice abalone inlay and fret dots.
This is an awesome playing and sounding banjo, that we know you’ll love to have. They come complete with nicely padded gig bags. Great banjos!
