Description

This is an unique one for sure, an awesome fingerstyle guitar! Handmade, with no maker’s label, so we don’t know it’s age or where it was made. There is an internal repair label that says it was repaired by Carter & Son in 2022 and lists the woods used. The guitar has a big deep tone on the bass notes with nice highs. The guitar is very articulate, you can hear individual notes in chords. They didn’t list the repairs performed on the label. There are multiple small top cracks that were repaired, one on the back and it looks like where the fingerboard and top meet, that cracks were repaired there too, with a small strip of wood inserted along the bass side of the neck. There are a few spots where we see finish drips, so it’s likely  been at least partially refinished/oversprayed, unless, it’s original. The guitar exhibits other light wear, tiny dings and assorted finish imperfections. The headstock face’s finish looks thin/worn. Most of what was mentioned unfortunately, doesn’t show up well in the photos. Overall, this guitar is in very good condition. No case, but it would be packed for safe shipping.
