Description
A nice German made violin, with a nice “red” varnish finish. The instrument is unlabeled, so we can’t say exactly when or who made it, but it’s certainly of German origin. We closed some open seams, fitted a new bridge and put new strings on. (Under the chinrest clamp, the side protruded some and it doesn’t quite sit where it was originally.) The violin plays easily and has a nice tone and good projection. There is an assortment of wear to it: tiny dings, and scratches, but nothing bad. There are also 2 old repaired cracks on the top, by the neck joint, under the fingerboard and there are small wedges under the fingerboard. This nice violin is in very good condition and comes with a hard case.
