The Premium 13″ UTE banjo has our 13″ multi-ply maple tone rim construction, with 24 heavy rim brackets. It gives a warm, woody banjo tone with strong bass and brilliant treble and lively response throughout the entire playing range. 13″ banjos put the bridge more towards the center of the rim, giving it more resonance and bass. Works well for both old-time and fingerpicking styles. The necks are made overseas and sent to UTE in Colorado for final shaping, adjusting and finishing.  Everything else is American made. UTE banjos always have a little quirk or two, this one has a chipped point on the back of the headstock.
