Description
The Yamaha FG-75 was vintage steel-string folk guitar produced between 1968 and the mid-1970s in Japan and Taiwan, this one is mid to late 70’s, as it was made in Taiwan. It is a 00-size, small-bodied guitar (14.5″ wide) with a laminate spruce top, ladder bracing, and a warm, punchy tone ideal for bluesy fingerpicking. These are popular vintage budget options but frequently require neck resets due to high action.
We reset it’s neck, worked some glue into a lamination crack on a back edge and into a seam on the neck heel. We also did a full setup and put new strings on for you. It’s ready to play! There is typical wear, dings, impressions, buckle rash on the back, etc, but nothing that would be a dealbreaker. The guitar plays easily and has a crisp and lively tone. The guitar is in good condition overall and comes with a chip case.
